This art book is your GPS, guiding you from Akwu to self-rediscovery as an Agbara. All the art in this book is shot and digitally created by Sirius Ugo Art. Sirius Ugo Art bases all these pieces on the fashion, designs, and decorations of the ancient Igbo people. Umu Agbara are not human beings; however, Agbara are manifested in human form because humans are spiritual beings experiencing materialism. And humans are capable of becoming Agbara on a microcosmic level. Humans can harness immense inner strength, power, and divine energy (Agbara) within themselves, reflecting the larger forces of the universe (macrocosm). This aligns with spiritual and philosophical beliefs, such as those found in many esoteric traditional practices where the individual's inner alignment and knowledge can influence their destiny. The colors of the divine forces are also well-known in ancient Igbo. When an Agbara is pure white, it represents purity, or the moon and sun. When an Agbara is green, it represents life, health, rebirth, and fertility. When an Agbara is red, it represents blood, war, and power. When an Agbara is dark in color, it represents dark energy. When an Agbara is blue, it represents water and air. All the divine forces work with one or two of the four elements. For example, Agunkwo works with Eke, while Nneono Oshimiri works with Orie. There are over seven hundred thousand Igbo divine forces. It would be impossible to create the arts of all Igbo deities, because that would be claiming to understand all the divine forces in the universe, which is impossible. However, all the divine forces (Umu Agbara niine) of the universe are different manifestations of Chukwu na Nnechukwu. Igbo people do not believe that humans created Umu Agbara. Igbo enlightens us that Umu Agbara (divine forces) existed before humans and that humans evolved to recognize them and work with them to become Agbara as well. A human being becomes Agbara through self-illumination, through the knowledge of self. Read more
